We say we don't have favourites, but us wedding suppliers absolutely do and Bradbury Glade is definitely one of my favourite venues to dress. Nestled amidst beautiful woodland, Bradbury Glade offers a luxury tipi wedding with outdoor ceremony space protected under a wooden canopy and transparent screening. It's my most popular venue to receive enquiries for and also my most popular for bookings, so when Eleanor got in touch I was over the moon to add another visit to Bradbury Glade for 2023.
One of the best things about Bradbury Glade is couples have the day prior to do any set up, perfect for couples who have done a lot of the decor themselves and to see the venue dressed before the big day, leaving the morning of the wedding free for relaxing and sipping prosecco while you get ready. Eleanor and Louis fully utilised this opportunity and had a whole squad of family and friends to help and it was such a lovely day spent dressing the tipi and ceremony barn.
For the ceremony barn, Eleanor and Louis opted for my Everly foliage arch with added wisteria. Eleanor then dressed the aisle with pampas and a beautiful floral display on the signing table. I particularly loved Eleanor's dried flower bouquet from Mimi & Belle Floral Design, beautiful and easily kept and displayed at home after the wedding!
On the day prior to the wedding, Eleanor clearly had the vision for what the day was going to look like and had meticulously planned one of the best weddings I've been a part of, to the point that I wished I was coming back the following day as a guest! She definitely has the skills of a wedding planner and was able to organise and arrange everyone with tasks for the day, all whilst caring for her beautiful 8 month old daughter. I watched her in awe as with my own daughter still only being 2, I vividly remember those newborn days and planning a wedding this good takes absolute skill! I just have to highlight this beautiful photo which absolutely set me off on the emotional rollercoaster which was their wedding gallery.
Moving into the tipi, Eleanor and Louis opted for my moon frame with neon sign for the dance floor, and my Harmony macrame backdrop to go behind their top table and it really works here. I also provided ivory chiffon table runners and chair sashes with a piece of fresh ruscus in each sash. Their florist was Nicky from All Year Round Flower Patch CIC who added a variety of brightly coloured flowers in a style which I think really works in a tipi venue as opposed to larger floral displays. Nicky runs a not for profit service around horticulture to people with anxiety and mental health problems, meaning the money spent on fresh flowers for this wedding went back into Nicky's services which is just a lovely touch to this already beautiful day.
Matching perfectly with the decor was their cake which was made by a family friend who just makes cakes as favours for her relatives and friends!
And whilst we're talking about food, take a look at what the team from Canvas Catering can offer. Food is always a big priority as it's something guests always reflect on and they never disappoint!
What a stunning day to be a part of, and such a top class venue and team of suppliers who contributed to this amazing day. Jack from Jack Cook Photography really did produce one of my favourite wedding galleries of all time. Here's a selection showcasing more of this beautiful day.
