When I'm browsing wedding groups online, videography still seems to be one of those things that's up for debate on whether it's an essential or a luxury, and I believe that no one's work makes it more clearer than Aaron's from Just Press Play Films, that videography should be a priority. Before I go on, just take a look at this highlight video of his:
Aaron is a North East based Videographer and has a wonderfully relaxed approach to wedding filmmaking. He blends into the background like one of your guests, ensuring he catches all those beautiful, candid moments without making you feel like you're in the middle of a photoshoot. His goal is to make sure you enjoy your day with as little nervousness as possible.
Having been a photographer and filmmaker for over 11 years, Aaron has a unique style which I know matches my clients so well and he's the videographer I'd be using, and in fact have used for my own brand shoot, take a look!
He describes his style as unobtrusive, fun, and documentary, with a nod to old home movies. This means he captures your wedding exactly as it happens—no complicated poses, just pure, authentic moments that reflect who you are as a couple with a dreamy nostalgic feel.
If you want a chilled, enjoyable experience without the tight photo timelines, Aaron is the perfect match for you. He believes every couple and every wedding is unique, and he strives to create images and films that truly reflect that uniqueness.
A little personal ramble now as to why I just love videography. We're the first generation that can leave a digital diary of memories for family members to see for infinite generations. How much do we really know what our parents were like when they were younger, what their relationships looked like, their energy and how they moved. I'm a millennial and have zero footage of my parents from when they were younger, just blurry photos. But going even further back, how amazing would it be to skip back a couple hundred years and watch a wedding video from relatives which most likely feature other relatives tracking your whole family tree. We are the generation that gets to kick start this digital diary and if we're not careful all we'll be leaving them is an Instagram grid of posed selfies and an in-depth look into which bars and restaurants we frequented and what we ate. So invest in some meaningful memories, and book Aaron. Here's one more video:
